Behind the Curtain of UBallet's Spartacus

This past weekend, University Ballet, the University of Chicago's student ballet company, performed  their classical and original student choreography of Spartacus. We went behind the curtain to get a glimpse of their full experience.

First year Laurel plays Aegina. Aside from ballet, she is also interested in entrepreneurship and is in EnvisionDo.

Harry, a first year Med student, plays Spartacus. He started ballet at the age of 9, but only picked it up again in college.

Emily, who plays a Thracian women lead, has been doing ballet for 15 years.

After 4 months of hard work, the dancers were ready to perform for an audience.
